I have been lecturing and writing about European and Russian art for nearly a decade. As an artist  I was curious to see what I could learn at first, then my interest grew into an all-consuming passion.  In preparation for my lectures I have traveled to Russia many times, hiring docents from the major museums to learn about their collections. I have also hired various experts including Russian university professors to educate me on specific artists and art movements. I have read many books and painstakingly translated those written in Russian. My quest to learn lead me to art collections in other cities around the world, which  include: Florence, Venice, Vienna, Paris, London and Amsterdam. I created my blog in order to share my lectures and the artwork with the public.
